DOD Instruction 1342.5-M-1 provides policy and procedures for the administrative and logistic responsibilities for the Department of Defense School (DODDS) system. In accordance with this instruction, commanders will "encourage all educable, eligible family members who have not completed high school to attend either DODDS or a regular program of formal instruction in the local school system;enroll in a tuition school;or enroll in an
independent study program by correspondence." Another alternative is for parents to educate school-age family members in a home school program.

Dance Lessons. Ballet, Tap & Jazz. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lessons are from age 3 to adult. The nice is that these are level-segregated classes rather than age-segregated so your children can all be in the same session. Phone 535-5915 for fees and information.

Saturday Family Matinee. Every Saturday at 1300, Cinema Plus hosts a $1 Rated G movie for the whole family. 535-5923.

Pacific Beach Resort The Navy's own beachfront resort on the extreme West Coast of Washington. Make your reservations 90 in advance as possible since dates fill quickly. Prices range from ~$5 to $50/night, depending upon facilities.
