AIRCRAFT CARRIERS

The Navy is Kitsap County's largest employer, providing jobs for more than 25,000 families in the area. Many of them are stationed on the aircraft carriers at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

Homeschooling is the PERFECT choice for military families. We move around a lot, and the children never need to make new "best friends" (because their family members are their best friends), nor suffer the trauma of repeatedly changing schools. There is also a continuity in studies that would be impossible in even the best of DoD schools.
