Zurns Tree Farm

zurns tree and daffodil farm

Tiptoe through the tulips... er, daffodils. Row upon row of these beautiful flowers for your own beauties to pick, smell, and delight in. Pack your garden scissors, your camera, and your children for an afternoon excursion to one of Belfair's hidden treasures.

After you and your children choose fragrant bouquets, take a nice long walk through the Christmas tree farm. The road is well-maintaned and provides a wonderful resource for the boys in your group to exercise those large muscle groups. Just remember to stay on the path. If you're adventurous, bring a blanket and picnic near the garden shop. Be prepared for inclement weather, though.

Zurn's is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during daffodil season -- that's usually March and the beginning of April. Field trips for groups are available by calling in advance. $1 gets each child 10 daffodils of their own choosing. Wear layered clothing as the weather is unpredictable, and cooler in the valley.

Zurn's Tree and Flower Farm is located at 9733 West Belfair Valley Rd, about two miles from the Bear Creek Texaco. Phone (360) 275-2028 for specific days and hours, or check the local paper in March. Their gift shop carries an eclectic mix of gardening supplies, giftware, and flower accessories.
