Bainbridge island - North Kitsap
(BINK) independent homeschooling families
About our Group:
The purpose of our group is to support
families in the home-education of our
children, as we
strive to help them develop strong academic skills. We
are
not affiliated with any public school alternative
education program. While
many of our members are Christian,
we welcome families of other religions.
We believe that a
strong moral foundation is an essential part of a
child's
education, and we feel this belief is shared by
families of many faiths. Our
group is united by a
traditional American desire for the freedom to raise
and
educate our children as we see fit, and the traditional
American
fortitude to carry out that responsibility.
Meetings:
Our meeting day is the second Tuesday of
each month, with occasional date adjustments for holidays and
other special events. We have been meeting at the Liberty
Ridge Apartments Lodge, which is located off Bond Road next to
the North Kitsap Medical Center in Poulsbo. Please call for
directions and exact dates. We will also post meeting dates
and locations in the local newspapers. Meetings usually begin
at 7:00 p.m. We will have coffee, tea, and treats.
